FOR COLLEGES, UNIVERSITIES & TRAINING CENTRES
BRING PLC TRAINING
TO LIFE
Professional hands-on PLC training kits built for real engineering education. Give learners a cleaner, more engaging way to build practical automation skills with real industrial hardware.
WHY EDUCATION NEEDS BETTER TOOLS
LESS THEORY ONLY.
MORE REAL PRACTICE.
PLCs, HMIs and industrial control systems can be difficult to teach when learners only see them in diagrams, slides or bulky old trainer boards. Confidence grows when learners can press buttons, test logic, watch outputs change and understand what is happening in front of them.
Rising Edge kits are being designed to make that practical experience easier to deliver across classrooms, workshops, training centres and university engineering labs.
The standard education-focused design uses an external approved power supply, so mains conversion happens outside the kit and the training unit is supplied with low-voltage 24V DC. That helps create a cleaner, more controlled setup for younger learners and busy teaching spaces.
BUILT FOR PRACTICAL DELIVERY
COMPACT KIT.
REAL HARDWARE.
Our training kits are built around real industrial automation components, including Siemens PLC hardware, HMI interaction, control devices, indicators and safety relay awareness. The aim is simple: help learners connect theory to real system behaviour.
The compact format makes the kit easier to move, store, demonstrate and use across different learning spaces — from college benches to university labs and employer-led training rooms.
SAFER POWER APPROACH
External 24V DC Power Supply
The standard Rising Edge kit is designed to be powered by an external approved power supply, similar in principle to a laptop-style adaptor. The adaptor converts mains outside the kit, so the training unit itself is supplied with low-voltage 24V DC.
Mains Conversion Outside The Kit
The external adaptor handles the mains conversion before power reaches the training unit.
24V DC Into The Kit
The learner-facing equipment is supplied with low-voltage 24V DC during normal use.
Cleaner Classroom Setup
A simpler power approach helps keep the kit practical for classrooms, workshops, apprenticeships and training spaces.
Built With Compliance In Mind
The kit will still be designed, built and assessed with safety, good engineering practice and appropriate product compliance in mind.
DESIGNED FOR EDUCATION ENVIRONMENTS
MADE TO HELP
LEARNERS CLICK
For Colleges
Support practical engineering delivery with compact PLC training equipment that feels modern, professional and engaging for learners.
For Universities
Give engineering students a clear hands-on route into PLCs, HMIs, control logic and industrial automation system thinking.
For Training Centres
Use a portable platform that can support repeatable practical sessions, demonstrations, short courses and skills bootcamps.
For Apprenticeships
Help apprentices build confidence by working with real controls, real feedback and practical automation tasks from day one.
For Tutors
Make lessons easier to explain with a clean front-facing layout, visible hardware and clear cause-and-effect learning.
External 24V DC Supply
Standard kits use an external approved power supply, so mains conversion happens outside the kit and the training unit is supplied with low-voltage 24V DC.
