SIEMENS TRANSFORM UK & IRELAND

It was great meeting you.

Thank you for taking the time to chat with Rising Edge Automation at Siemens Transform. Whether we spoke about education, apprenticeships, employer training, practical automation or future collaboration, we really appreciate you stopping by.

This page gives you a quick introduction to what we are building and why we are so focused on helping close the automation skills gap with professional, hands-on PLC training systems.

Learners using PLC training equipment in an engineering classroom

WHY RISING EDGE EXISTS

Practical automation skills need more than theory.

Automation and control learners need time with real PLCs, HMIs, signals and industrial control systems. Diagrams and simulations are useful, but confidence is built when people can connect, test, operate and diagnose a physical system.

Rising Edge Automation exists to make that hands-on experience easier to access across colleges, training centres, employer sites and technical development spaces.

THE CHALLENGE

The classroom teaches theory. The shop floor demands confidence.

Today’s industry needs engineers, apprentices and technicians who can understand PLC logic, trace signals, read HMI behaviour and think clearly when equipment does not respond as expected.

That kind of judgement comes from repeated practical experience. Our systems are designed to help learners move from knowing the theory to proving, testing and fault-finding with confidence.

WHAT WE ARE BUILDING

Professional training systems for practical automation learning.

Rising Edge systems are compact, professional training platforms built around genuine industrial hardware. They are designed to support PLC programming, HMI interaction, analogue signals, Ethernet communication, safety awareness and practical diagnostics from one clear learning platform.

01

Siemens PLC Training System

Our launch system is built around Siemens S7-1200 G2 PLC technology, Siemens MTP700 Unified HMI and practical learner-facing controls.

02

Education & Curriculum Support

Designed to support practical delivery across BTEC, City & Guilds, T Levels, HNC/HND and apprenticeship pathways.

03

Employer Capability

A reusable platform for apprentices, technicians and engineering teams who need stronger PLC, HMI and fault-finding confidence.
