Rising Edge Automation to Attend Siemens Connected Curriculum

We're excited to be attending Siemens Connected Curriculum on 15 July and to learn from the conversations there.

Rising Edge Automation will be attending Siemens Connected Curriculum on 15 July.

We are pleased to share that Rising Edge Automation will be attending Siemens Connected Curriculum on 15 July as part of our ongoing work to understand how colleges, training providers and employers are approaching practical industrial automation skills.

For us, this is an important opportunity to listen, learn and connect with people who care about the future of technical education. Our mission is built around a simple idea: learners need more confidence with the kind of PLC, HMI and control hardware they are likely to meet in real industrial environments.

Connected Curriculum is highly relevant to that mission. It brings together conversations around skills, education, industry needs and the practical technologies that support modern engineering learning.

Why we are attending

Rising Edge Automation is developing compact PLC training systems designed to make practical automation learning more approachable, more realistic and easier to deliver in education and employer-led training environments.

Attending Siemens Connected Curriculum gives us the chance to speak with education and industry contacts directly. We want to better understand the challenges they face when delivering automation training, from equipment access and classroom space to learner confidence, curriculum relevance and the growing need for practical fault-finding skills.

  • Listen to educators — understand what colleges and training providers need from practical automation equipment.
  • Learn from industry — hear how employers are thinking about automation skills, apprenticeships and workforce development.
  • Share our direction — introduce the Rising Edge mission and the training system we are building around industry-standard automation hardware.

Supporting the bigger skills conversation

The automation skills gap is not solved by one company, one product or one event. It needs stronger collaboration between education, employers, technology providers and people who understand the pressures faced by learners and engineering teams.

That is why events like this matter. They create space for better conversations about what practical automation competence should look like and how the next generation of engineers can develop capability earlier.

We are looking forward to attending, meeting new contacts and continuing to develop Rising Edge Automation in a way that genuinely supports industrial learning.

CONNECT. PROGRAM. MASTER.

Let’s keep the conversation going.

If we meet through Siemens Connected Curriculum, we would love to continue the discussion around practical PLC training, education delivery and practical automation capability.
